A Parable of Judgment

Judgment

God made a covenant with humanity regarding the final Judgment.

He said, “Whoever you will curse, I will curse.  Whoever you will bless, I will bless.  When the day of the Judgment comes, tell me who shall live eternally and who shall be cast into eternal darkness and be destroyed.”

And so, time went on.

Wars happened.

Children died.

People starved.

Poverty ran out of control.

Sickness was rampant.

The rich exploited the poor.

Violence broke out among the people.

But there were those among them who desired to be just, who thought of themselves as just.

They worked to their ends just as everyone.

And then the Judgment came.

God came back to the earth and said, “Whoever you will curse, I will curse.  Whoever you will bless, I will bless.  The Day of Judgment has come, so tell me who shall live and who shall be cast into eternal darkness and be destroyed.”

On that day, God wept.  For every person was cast into the darkness and destroyed.
